The Spanish fashion brand Desigual is debuting today its second collaboration collection Desigual x Stella Jean, after its first one launched for s/s 2022.

For the occasion the Italo-Haitian designer Stella Jean has mixed her origins with Rome’s memories from her childhood with the love for bold colors, exclusive prints, quality and sustainable fashion she shares with Desigual.

"Quality carries tradition and sartorial history of the countries that helped produce these collections. I think right now we have to pass the baton to those who will buy and those who will wear these garments, so that they have the same care. It is this chain that will change history," said Stella Jean, explaining how the collection is made with fabrics from sustainable fibers such as, for example, Lenzing Ecovero, BCI Cotton, recycled polyamide and leather certified by the Leather Working Group.

The campaign, portraying the collection, shot by Txema Yeste, is set in the Mediterranean at a dreamy sunrise, a metaphor for Desigual and Stella Jean's bet for more responsible and better fashion.

The protagonist of the collection is a maxi chemisier dress enlivened by prints seemingly typical of southern Italy, but actually composed of typically Caribbean motifs. Illustrated with simple lines and colored in dreamy tones, we see animals (giraffes, birds, felines), tropical vegetation, flowers and even amphorae.

The same print, but on a white background, is the star of another of the collection's maxi dresses: a magniloquent design made from meters and meters of fabric. In its blue-scale version, the pattern unfolds on another dress, which has a ruffle on the neckline and features lots of ruffles.

The same palette, ranging from indigo to cobalt, but also a blue and white abstract pattern with a tie-dye effect, accentuated by subtle vertical veins in red, yellow and green. A wide skirt, a boxy-cut blouse and a short dress with a knotted neckline were made with this print. The other mini dress in the campaign is black, with side cut-outs and embroidery on the puffy sleeves.

Beachwear rounds out the collection with swimsuits with tropical palm tree prints, a black bikini with a red mini sarong, and a poncho with a wild horse print.
