The Dutch premium jeans brand continues to hit new strikes by launching unexpected collaborations and projects. Debuting on 13 October, the Denham x Aspesi collaboration collection will be available online and through top-end fashion stores for fall 2022.
The Made In Italy new capsule collection originates from the marriage of Denham’s authentic blue denim painstakingly accurately made collection with sartorial elegant black, a characteristic of the Milanese elegant-meets-function brand Aspesi born in 1969.
Mixing Italian know-how with technical expertise, the collection features original denim and outerwear icons designed around conversations about premium fabrics, elegant and sartorial style held between Jason Denham, founder of Denham, and Lawrence Steele, creative director of Aspesi, pointing out the importance of fabric, quality and the visceral effects of appearance.
The “Blu Nero Capsule Collection” includes 14 pieces including jeanswear like five-pockets made with premium denim by Candiani Denim, minimal chambray padded shirts (a classic for Aspesi, but reinvented with a modern jeans twist), essential sweatshirts and cool outer jackets, these last ones made with a recycled nylon Japanese fabric.
