A new all-gender bold attitude and greater attention for material research are leading Timberland Earthkeepers by Raeburn for s/s 2022.
As the brand’s most eco-innovative product collection, Earthkeepers by Raeburn aims to set a new direction for the brand each season, aiming to push the boundaries of responsible design using high quality, earth-conscious materials.
Christopher Raeburn, collaborator at large for Timberland, has drawn his utilitarian and responsible design ethos for designing the new apparel adventure for the season and played with a muted natural palette with pops of orange and a minimally-designed collection. For the season he has chosen bio-based GreenStride comfort soles, no-dye garments, the Rebotl fabric made using recycled plastic, and a Tencel x Refibra fabric made of responsibly sourced wood pulp and recycled cotton.

Key aspects of the collection include Earthkeepers by Raeburn GreenStride Edge EK+ Hikers, lightweight lace-up hikers with GreenStride comfort soles made of 75% renewable bio-based material with sugar cane and rubber from trees, breathable Rebotl fabric linings containing at least 50% recycled plastic, and uppers made with Tencel x Refibrafabric. A climbing grade rubber toe cap also helps protect toes on the trail.
The All-Gender Earthkeepers by Raeburn Water-Repellent parka is responsibly made without the use of dyes and uses cotton that is 100% organically grown without chemicals or pesticides. The fabric was treated with a durable water-repellent finishing.
