The iconic US jewelry brand Tiffany & Co. and Nike are going to collaborate. After an Instagram post about this new liaison appeared today, it sparked a flurry of speculation and explanations, although no additional information has been officially confirmed by any of the partners involved.
Tiffany is not new to collaborations aimed at attracting the attention of the youngest consumers. After announcing a previous collaboration with Supreme and launching campaigns with celebrities such as Jay-Z and Beyoncé, the new project with Nike was presented simply by Tiffany's Instagram account showing a Nike shoebox in the iconic Tiffany water blue hue.
Despite a previous partnership between Nike and Tiffany & Co. that had already debuted in 2005 and 2014, with only a few rare sneaker examples released, the new offspring of the collaboration could hit Tiffany & Co. jewelry stores, the SNKRS section of Nike's website and a few select stores in spring 2023 and be sold for US$400.
