Liu Jo, the Italian fashion and jeans brand founded in 1995 by entrepreneur Marco Marchi, is hitting some new goals.

The company has achieved a significant success in terms of sales as it closed 2021 registering €415 million revenues. It has also opened a series of new monobrand stores in prestigious global locations, while it has recently developed J Skin, its new concept store developed in order to have a reduced environmental impact.

The new store concept has already found a home in the Liu Jo store of Rome, in Via Cola (pictured above), and in the newly redesigned store of Palermo, in Via Libertà. Along with them, all the new Liu Jo stores that will open in the future will follow this new responsible direction.

The new store concept is based upon the use of certified materials and products manufactured by companies that operate according to a zero-waste strategy.

For developing this new format, the company has used water paint, decor elements obtained from waste materials, 100% recyclable hangers with guaranteed lifecycle, and fabrics and carpets obtained from natural fibers, among other responsibly made components.

The new store concept will also host decor pieces from the brand's own Liu Jo Living collection made with sustainable raw materials and studied to be used flexibly and adapt to the changing needs of the brand's store and design contemporary solutions.

Among the brand's most recent openings there are the first two mono brand stores inaugurated in Saudi Arabia, in March 2022, in Abu Dhabi, at The Galleria Al Maryah Island, and in August in Dubai, at the Dubai Mall of Emirates.

While strengthening its presence in the Middle East, the group has also expanded in Southern America presence with an important plan of openings that started from Mexico City, followed by the opening of six shops-in-the-shop inside El Palácio De Hierro, the main department store of the country. Along with the increasing of physical stores, the company is also focused on its online presence through its EPH online store in Mexico.

Liu Jo will continue to open new shops in Europe, too, as it will inaugurate 32 mono brand stores between Spain and Portugal in Alicante and Oporto by December 2022 and five more by 2025.

"It is fundamental to accelerate in the Iberian Peninsula the development of the Liu Jo monobrand store network, a market whose results are rewarding the investments made, also thanks to the fantastic work done by our teams," commented Marco Marchi, founder and owner, Liu Jo.

"I think it is necessary, especially in a difficult and uncertain macroeconomic situation like the present one, to continue to invest in our brand in all the countries where we operate, also by strengthening our commitment in the area of sustainable development, as demonstrated by the launch of the new J Skin concept store," he added.
