The Japanese designer brand Yohji Yamamoto has launched the conceptual project, Wildside Yohji Yamamoto through its online global platform on Wednesday, July 20.
The initiative is hosting a wide range of genres including fashion, art, interior design and lifestyle.
At the same time, the platform is also offering Wildside Yohji Yamamoto, a unisex brand characterised by military, work and sports elements, all characteristics that are intrinsically tied to Yohji Yamamoto's own signature, though reinvented in an updated in a modern way.
Along with fashion, the platform is also hosting art projects selected thanks to collaborations with galleries and artists who have a close connection with Yohji Yamamoto Inc., including, for instance, the Akio Nagasawa Gallery presenting photographs of Tadao Ando's architecture taken by photographer Takai.
Wildside Yohji Yamamoto also plans to open a flagship store in Japan in the fall of 2022 to further expand its omnichannel business.

The platform is hosting a selection of special apparel pieces created in collaboration with Japanese brands Needles, Noma t.d., Hysteric Glamour, Ambush and Minedenim.
