Italian designer Tiziano Guardini has recently presented his f/w 2022/2023 womanswear collection “La Fiaba”, inspired by fairy tales, an imaginative world made of single edition apparel pieces that mix craftsmanship and innovation keeping alive past, present and future as part of the value chain.

While highlighting his imaginative and artistic capacity, the designer points out that in order to be responsible, it is important to add extra value to purchases and avoid hyper-consumerism by reinventing old down jackets and apparel items that can no longer be worn. This way, his apparel pieces transformed into new items pave the way for new approaches in preserving the humanity and the planet where we live.

Each item reproduces a motif inspired by a fairy tale recreated by using applications and patches of different materials thanks to a collaboration with Dylan Studio from Milan and artist Luigi R. Ciuffreda.

"Creating and realizing projects that aim at the valorization of resources, at preserving their function both in the short and especially in the long term, is what I love to do. It allows me to realign myself with nature, where everything that produces always has a value,” explained Tiziano Guardini. “For this collection we did more than upcycling. We created ‘wearable paintings’ that take us into the world of fairy tales. Moreover, in all the fairy tales we have heard or read, we can find a hidden secret message that wants to encourage us into changing in the present."
