Starting from s/s 2022, the luxury streetwear brand OAMC is launching a new project–OAMC Re:Work.

Strongly inspired by the philosophy of Dieter Rams, a German industrial designer and retired academic, the brand is now focused on a consciousness that “extra” is not needed.

The new project, an integral part of the brand, is made by reinventing exiting garments, fabrics and trims that are reproportioned, overdyed, reinforced and modified through the integration of hardware or fabric panels.

It features a deconstruction exercise of military garments and blankets, specifically the American M-65 Field Jacket liner, and it has been completely reimagined in several forms.

In this journey the brand wants to discover new ways for revisiting deadstock, vintage and discarded garments and reinvent how they are worn and used again, and integrate them according to new silhouettes of the season marking the beginning of a new deep exploration process.
