Sioux GmbH has released a statement that as of the start of May, Thomas Schrafen has taken on the role of marketing director. The 48-year-old brings with him long-standing practical experience from leading brands, having previously worked as brand manager for Coca-Cola, head of marketing communications at Sony Deutschland GmbH and marketing director at Electrolux. He has also served as marketing adviser for enterprises such as Sennheiser and Levi’s.

Schrafen's main task at Sioux will be “to develop a clear and effective marketing strategy to make the brand attractive to consumers and trading partners,” on an assignment limited till the end of the year. He is supported by the Sioux marketing team, made up of Reiner Pfeiffer (trade marketing) and Heike Ruf (measure and exhibitions, market research).
