Last Thursday Tommy Hilfiger opened his largest outlet in Europe in Metzingen. The opening of the flagship outlet also reflects the brand's vision of what the future of retail should look like. The focus is on combining the traditional shopping experience with digital innovations.
Over an area of 1,296 sq. meters, customers can view the complete collection on digital touchscreens and gain unlimited access to a wider selection of looks. Touchscreen displays are designed to facilitate online ordering and style scanners will help customers explore clothing combinations and advise on fit. The Tommy Hilfiger and Tommy Jeans collections for men, women, shoes, accessories and kids are offered on the sales floor.
In addition to the omnichannel experiences, customers can also physically enjoy a drink in the Tommy Hilfiger Café. The interior design of the store is inspired by the nautical lifestyle. This is evident in the combination of illuminated, white-painted wall panels with rustic oak floors as well as glass and stainless steel elements.
