Swiss premium department store Jelmoli has filled the position of head of merchandise fashion with André Myburgh. The fashion expert will take up his new position on February 1, 2020 and is a member of the extended management board.

 

Myburgh will be responsible for the purchasing management of the entire men's and women's fashion segment including shoes, lingerie, accessories and travel and will report to chief merchandise officer Holger Brader. André Myburgh has extensive experience in purchasing as well as many years of international professional experience in premium and luxury fashion. He has worked as senior buyer at Peek & Cloppenburg and head of global brands at Wormland. In the latter position he was responsible for the strategic development and supervision of 14 multilabel stores as well as the e-commerce and Click & Collect divisions. In his last position he was an independent brand consultant for brands such as Agnona.

 

Jelmoli is one of the largest premium department stores in Switzerland. The store in Zürich has six floors with a range of around 2 million products from 1.000 curated brands from all over the world. More than 1000 employees work for Jelmoli.
