Clean sneakers for New York: For the first time ever, sneakerheads’ favorite shoe cleaning brand Jason Markk is offering its drop-off shoe care service outside of Los Angeles by opening a pop-up shop inside the Footaction store in Manhattan.
For five days starting on Saturday (June 25), Jason Markk will offer a selection of its services ranging from Lace Cleaning ($5) or Deodorizing ($5) to Classic Cleaning ($10) or the “Purp Special” ($38) to the New York-based sneaker crowd. Additionally, there will also be tutorials on how to clean suede leather and other materials.
Jason Markk enjoys industry-wide recognition for its Premium Shoe Cleaner, designed specifically to clean sneakers without harsh chemicals. Founded in 2007, the brand’s products can now be found in more than 2,000 stores across 30 countries. In May 2014, the brand opened its first flagship store in Los Angeles, where you can not only buy the full Jason Markk line and other sneaker lifestyle products but also have your sneakers dry-cleaned or taken special care of by special “Sneaker Care Technicians”.
