The last edition of Micam held in the beginning of September 2016 presented a series of interesting new trends.
See here our top-5 trends we spotted at the show:
Short cut
Mostly colorful, glittery or decorated with patches, embroideries or metallic elements, ankle boots are cool for summer, too. High-heeled, with perforated leather uppers or cowboy boot like - every fashion victim will love them (John Richmond, Vic Matié, El Naturalista).

Ethnic hectic
Browns, reds and earth colors are a must for sneakers and sandals. Embroidered, carrying jacquard ribbon motives and colorful or natural leather fringed elements, the ethnic mood is the real must have for the season (Arvind Yuki Shy, Apepazza).

Flower power
They add a gentle touch but also some bold contrast. Flowers are back and complete shoes – from sequined models by Movie’s, dramatically applied onto Vic Matie’s cowboy style ankle boots. Even more naturalistic are Barleycorn’s real small dried flowers coated with a ciré effect onto shoes’ uppers.

Energetic contrast
Adding a touch of yellow, pink, orange or green can add so much to a plain urban shoe, sneaker or flip flop as presented by Lumberjack, Apepazza, Vic Matié, Blauer and Tiffi.

Natural beauty
Wooden soles are a must for revamped ‘70s nostalgic platform shoes and clogs as seen at El Naturalista and Lumberjack.
