There’s now a date for the launch of H&M’s new retail baby: The first Arket store will open its doors at 224 Regent Street in London on August 25. On the same day, e-commerce will be kicked off on arket.com, serving to 18 European countries. Two days before the launch, customers who have signed up to a mailing list will be able to shop online at a reduced rate for a limited period.
The store will offer Arket’s own products for men, women, children and the home, replenished by other selected brands. An in-store café serving the “New Nordic Kitchen” emphasizes the lifestyle approach of the Scandinavian brand.
Further Arket stores have been announced to follow in Copenhagen (Købmagergade 33), a second one in London (27-29 Long Acre), Brussels (Avenue de la Toison D’Or 15) and Stockholm (Biblioteksgatan 9).
