The 10 Corso Como store based in New York City, in the Seaport District, has closed its doors–and not temporarily because of the COVID-19 emergency.
The decision to shut down permanently was taken by the real estate company The Howard Hughes Corporation and Carla Sozzani’s own company, the organization behind the Milanese must-go shopping destination that opened in 1991.
“10 Corso Como was an exciting addition at the Seaport,” said Saul A. Scherl, president, New York Tri-state Region of The Howard Hughes Corporation. “As we all look forward to the time when people can gather again, we will use this next period to evaluate new opportunities to enhance the experience for our entire Seaport community, residents, neighbors, and workers.”

Two other 10 Corso Como stores, in Shanghai and Beijing, also permanently closed recently. The Shanghai store closed in 2019 and the Bejing one in 2017. In addition to the Milanese store two more locations are open in Korea along with shop-in-shops in Tokyo and Taipei.
