Premium denim retailer Over the Rainbow just announced its relocation into the Manulife Centre for 2018. Over the Rainbow is one of Canada’s largest independent premium denim destinations founded in 1975 by Joel Carman in Yorkville a district of Toronto.
"Our building was sold last year and will be redeveloped in the near future. Moving closer to Bloor Street into the newly revitalized Manulife Centre, with its incredible mix of retail, entertainment and dining is going to take our business to the next level. We will also be adding fifty percent more retail space and offering our customer greater variety of products in an updated environment", states Joel Carman.
The new improved flagship store will feature a completely new store design realized by architectural design firm Giannone Petricone Associates Inc. "The current location will remain open while the new store is being constructed and when it is completed we will move without any significant down time", says Daniel Carman, co-owner of Over the Rainbow.
Joel Carman is convinced: "This new store has been in the making for many years! We are so excited to finally reveal our plans, and we can't wait to deliver a bigger, modern space for our customers, in what we view to be a crown jewel of a building in the Bloor-Yorkville area. We believe the dynamic redevelopment plans to Manulife Centre complement our store's vision for the future. Not to mention being surrounded by great retailers in the building and having direct access to the subway and underground parking facilities. We believe the new store will be a home run for our customers while allowing us to deliver the same comfortable and friendly experience that comes with shopping at Over the Rainbow! It's an exciting time for our family business!"
