Spanish-based Inditex group has opened its first physical Pull & Bear store in Germany after two years of selling there exclusively online. According to the company, during the two year e-commerce experience, Germany has positioned itself as one of Pull & Bear’s biggest online markets.

Pull & Bear now run a 750sqm store in Tauentzienstraße 13 in Berlin. On two floors shop builder Lázaro Rosa-Violán has created a spirited, lively ambience, which recalls Palm Springs, California in the 70s. Every project is tailored individually to adapt to the requirements of the space. On the other hand you see immediately that this is a store from the 21st Century: six foot tall flat screens are located on both floors to connect the offline with the online world. Users of the digital photo booth can share their photos with friends in real time on Facebook or Twitter. This debut store in Germany is just the start of the concept’s expansion strategy in the country, which includes plans to open new POS throughout the rest of 2013, the next opening will be in Frankfurt/Main. “Everything else we will see in the future,” says Matthias Alipass, Zara Management B.V. “We are searching for the right location for every single brand we run, which is why we cannot declare exactly when, where and how many stores we will open in the future.”

Pull & Bear started up in 1991 and offers the latest international trends for women and men, mixing them with the influences that are seen on the street or in the clubs. The textile collection is backed up by footwear, accessories, fashion jewellery, fragrances, watches and sunglasses. New stock is delivered twice a week. Pull & Bear is present in 68 markets with a network of almost 850 stores located around Europe, America, Asia and Africa and is part of the Inditex group that distributes Zara, Massimo Dutti, Bershka, Stradivarius, Oysho, Zara Home and Uterqüe and runs over 6000 Stores in 86 countries.
