Under the motto “Action Speaks” German fashion trade show organizer Premium Group together with online payment system OptioPay hosted the Refugee Fundraising Event at Station-Berlin on 13 November 2015.

The event was held to support five refugee aid projects including “Cultural Coaches”, an organization that helps integrate refugees through bicultural mediation, and “Be an Angel”, which helps to accommodate refugees in private households and integrate them into society.

After the event, already two of the five projects were, according to estimates, fully financed through the donations of the 150 guests present as well as the donations that could be made over the online donation platform. 100% of the donations received benefit the projects.

“The night was meant for the people who have the courage and heart to help on-site or realize ideas and concepts that make a long term integration possible. We do what we do best: create a platform, activate the network and bring together the right people”, Anita Tillmann, managing partner of the Premium Group, summarized the event.
