Ermenegildo Zegna and Milanese designer Stefano Pilati will present its newly designed S/S 2014 Couture Collection at Milan Fashion Week, 22 – 25th June 2013. The designer has collaborated for the first time with Zegna Group as its new Head of Design for the brand and is responsible for the brands fashion show and couture collection (and will debut as the group’s woman brand Agnona new creative director in September 2013) - read the story here.
The debut will be accompanied by an artistic installation overseen by Pilati, and will take place inside the Pavillion VI Febbraio of Fiera Milano City, an historical location within Milan that the city's authorities have started redesigning in collaboration with prestigious designers such as Zaha Hadid and Daniel Libeskind.
In addition to the new location and installation, the company have also enlisted the help of Johan Soderberg, Maxence Cyrin and Klas Åhlund, to develop creative content that will support the show. Soderberg is a Swedish movie director and editor who has worked on multiple prize-winning short movies, as well on clips for music stars such as Madonna and Robyn. Cyrin is a French artist and pianist, appreciated for his interpretations of heavy metal and rock music pieces, and Åhlund is a musician from the Swedish band Teddybears.
The special installation will remain open for the whole of Milan Menswear Week (22-25th June from 11am - 6pm). In addition to this, Zegna Group, through their talents management department, will support and involve students from the Milanese fashion schools, as well as local talents, by showing them how creative ideas can be presented within specific spaces for shows.
