It is a sunny summer day and debut for the second round of the Panorama trade
show. The success of the first edition was a great challenge and motivation to make this years show really shine. Many visitors arrived early at the ExpoCenter Airport and halls were soon full. The expectation for the first day was high and at the end of the day everybody was happy with the result.

"We had all of the important buyers here," said Jan Erik van Dijk, H.I.S. Jeans. A highlight at the H.I.S. booth was the Klitschko Collection presented by Heavyweight World Champion Wladimir Klitschko. Wolfgang Endler, Timezone explained: "Panorama is a good business platform for us. We had a good response. All of the important retailers were here." Today the atmosphere was very busy. People had interesting discussions and the new collections met positive comments. The main message of the show is that denim is back. Many exhibitors commented that Panorama did an excellent and professional job. Booths were beautifully decorated and open, and the service and catering was optimal and organized.

For this edition Panorama in collaboration with the exhibitors, enhanced its brand communication and shuttle service between its trade fair site and Berlin Fashion Week. This year approximately 390 labels (40 more than last January) are showing their Spring/Summer 2014 collections. Jörg Wichmann, Managing Director, Panorama was happy with the first day: "We've improved our concept and are striving to make a visit to the fair as easy and efficient as possible." The fair shows a mix-and-match medley of women's and men's collections as well as accessories and shoes.

The Entrance Hall boasts "Best of Segment" selections; Hall C features "Casual" collections; and Hall A focuses on the theme of the "Modern young woman." New exhibitors like Garcia and Cars are happy with the premier. Mike Sitte from Garcia: "The first impressions are good, the atmosphere is nice and we can show our new concept." "We have to see how Panorama works. We are doing real business here," said Roel de Veer, No Excess. Even the Italians were there; it is this year Gas Jeans’ debut at the show. After doing business exhibitors and visitors relaxed at the "Berlin Street Market" outdoor area, which has various lounges, catering areas, and different brand presentations.

A hot spot for the evenings is the “Meet & Greet Cocktail” area. For this edition, Sportswear International has been invited for a get together in the Denim Corner.
