Düsseldorf-based department store Peek & Cloppenburg has opened its fourth store in Frankfurt am Main in the new Skyline Plaza shopping centre, close to Frankfurt Central Station. The new store is 4300sqm, carries 180 labels and has three floors. The store is located in a prominent position within the shopping centre, next door to Inditex Group’s Zara, Zara Home and Pull & Bear stores.

The store has a clearly structured sales floor characteristic of other P&C stores: on the ground floor you will find casuals, daily wear and accessories for men and women, the first floor shows premium-fashion and casual wear for women and children and the second floor displays the menswear and jeanswear. “It’s going to be exciting,” says Michael Fuhrmann, division manager sales, Peek & Cloppenburg KF Düsseldorf, “exciting because with the opening of the Plaza a completely new shopping area has been founded in Europaviertel. There has been nothing like this before and it should attract business customers who are working in surrounding banks, chanceries and companies, as well as inhabitants from the south of Frankfurt and visitors for the fair.”

Peek & Cloppenburg runs 72 department stores in Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands and Austria and employs 11,300 people. Its second head quarters, founded in 2008, are in Vienna, from which 40 department stores in Austria and Eastern Europe are run.
