Multilabel department stores chain Peek & Cloppenburg has named US-designer Zac Posen as the new patron for its ‘Designer for Tomorrow’ award. In cooperation with the jury, Posen will choose the top five candidates and will give the prize to this year’s ‘Designer for Tomorrow’ (DfT) on 9th July at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin.
“We are very pleased to have found Zac Posen as a mentor for the DfT award, who combines through his American origin and his studies at Central Saint Martin’s college two worlds in a unique way”, said jury member John Cloppenburg, part of the executive management at Peek & Cloppenburg KG, Düsseldorf and the Fashion ID GmbH & Co. KG.
Peek & Cloppenburg´s award for young talents takes place in Berlin since 2009.
