Turkish denim weaver Orta Anadolu has presented its newest development for the spring/summer 2017 season at Denim Première Vision in Barcelona: Bio-kinetic denim, which is constructed with Emana Black, a dark polyamide 6.6-based yarn with incorporated bioactive materials. In contact with the skin, these minerals absorb body heat and emanate far infrared rays back to the skin improving blood microcirculation; increasing elasticity, tonicity and softness of the skin and reducing cutaneous imperfections and orange peel skin. To achieve the bio-kinetic aesthetical results, it is recommended to wear the product for at least 30 consecutive days, 6 hours daily.

Bio-kinetic denim was created in order to meet the demand towards comfort jeans to be worn as a second skin for all daily activities in fast-paced urban environments. It belongs to Orta’s Symbiosis collection, which stands for a constantly higher energy exchange and interaction between the wearer and the garments themselves.

Emana’s Black yarn properties are permanent, so it doesn’t matter how many times you wash the garment as the bioactive minerals are an integral part of the yarn. Emana Black is also class I certified under the OEKO-TEX Standard 100, an independent quality seal that certifies the absence of harmful substances for humans in a product.
