After three years of absence from the executive management, Wolfgang Endler, founder of Bavaria-based denim brand Timezone (Escape Clothing GmbH), will return as CEO of the company in the beginning of 2017.
Timezone’s current CEO Uwe Kauert will leave the company for family reasons. “I thank the whole team for their dedication and a great time. The decision was not easy for me, but with regards to my family it is now time to find a new challenge in my home town”, said Kauert, who is native to Münster/Westphalia, in an official statement.
Wolfgang Endler founded Timezone in 1993 and handed over its lead to Kauert in 2013. Over the past months, the two have been working closely together to ensure a smooth transition.
