Mount Vernon Mills has announced the addition of John “Bud” Strickland as the company’s new denim division director of product development. Strickland brings with him many key industry relationships and 38 years of textile industry experience. In his new position, he will be tasked with expanding Mount Vernon Mills’ denim collection.
Strickland has spent his entire career in the textile industry and has held positions in textile product development for the past 25 years. Prior to joining Mount Vernon Mills, he worked as the technical superintendent at WestPoint Pepperell and served as director of product development for multiple companies, including the Cone Denim division of the International Textile Group, Liberty Denim and Cone Mills.
