Global denim manufacturer Isko will participate in the June 2016 edition of Pitti Uomo for the first time. Among the initiatives Isko will present, they will disclose the shortlisted finalists for the third edition of the Isko I-Skool award, will name the over 20 finalists chosen for their Fashion Award contest and the 10 finalists for their Marketing Award. The final event and prize giving will take place in Villa Corner, Treviso, on 15 July 2016, keeping the attention alive on one of the key Italian districts of the Italian jeanswear industry, the Veneto region.
Within the upcoming edition of Pitti, Isko also wants to organize one or more talks involving top personalities of the global denim scene aimed at presenting how the denim, jeanswear and casual markets are evolving.
“We are extremely glad of this collaboration with Pitti Uomo, the most important trade show globally,” commented Marco Lucietti, global marketing director, Sanko/Isko division. “Despite that we have stopped participating in specialized fabric trade shows, we want to continue our dialogue with the market by speaking directly with our clients and presenting our know-how to buyers.”
The company will exhibit inside the Grotte area, a prominent 300 sq. meter location placed near one of the entrances and exits of the show. The location will host both a space presenting creations of the past editions of Isko Iskool contests and some lounge and relax areas.
Lucietti also added a personal comment referring to the fact that after five years of working for Isko he continues to pursue his strategy to promote Isko as ingredient branding: “Collaborating with Pitti Uomo confirms our willingness to be where our customers are, at the forefront of fashion evolution. I am personally really proud that together we are continuously able to push boundaries ahead."
