On 11-12 July, Trieste will host the final event of the ITS 2014 (International Talent Support), the creative platform conceived and developed by the Eve agency. The event aims to scout and honor some of the best upcoming international young talents in fashion, accessories, artwork and jewelry design. The event is presented by OTB, a holding company that owns the brands Diesel, Maison Martin Margiela, Marni, Viktor&Rolf and Staff International. Main partners of the initiative will be Diesel, YKK, Swatch and Swarovski.

The 2014 edition’s central theme will be “Lucid Dreams”. The four competition areas of the contest are ITS Fashion, ITS Accessories, ITS Artwork and ITS Jewelry, which will all be presented to a jury, composed of fashion, costume history and art experts along with celebrities. The presentation consists of 40 projects, 10 for each area, that will compete for different prizes and for the career opportunities that the contest has provided to the over 500 total finalists over the past years, leading to positions at fashion, accessories and jewelry brands worldwide, while other participants have successfully launched their own labels. ITS 2014 offers a prize pool of almost €100,000 and different job opportunities.

ITS 2014 will also involve new partnerships with Samsung Electronics, ShowStudio and Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana. ShowStudio.com, the award-winning fashion website founded and directed by Nick Knight, will award the chosen fashion designer with the opportunity to create a ShowStudio fashion film.

For the prize giving ceremony, ITS 2014 will have a brand new host, the multi-awarded actress Anita Kravos, originally from the Friuli Venezia Giulia region, and star of the movie “The Great Beauty” by Paolo Sorrentino, the film that won the Oscar prize for Best Foreign Language Film this year.
