Denim brand Guess has appointed Lander Isasi managing director for the Middle East, India and Southeast Asian regions (Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam), effective December 1, 2015. Based in Dubai, Isasi will be responsible for the development of existing business relations and will also play a major role in the implementation of growth plans in these territories. He will report to Victor Herrero, CEO of Guess.
Before joining Guess, Isasi worked as managing director South East Asia and China corporate departments at the Inditex Group, the Spanish retail giant comprising Zara, Massimo Dutti and Bershka, among many others. His duties at Inditex involved the expansion of the group's brands in China and the Southeast Asian regions.
In regard of the appointment, Victor Herrero said: "We are delighted to have Lander on board. His experience and background represent a solid foundation for growth in this region.”
