Bread & Butter launches Milk & Honey, Arichitect/designer Ettore Sottsas shows at Esprit headquarters


Organizers of Bread & Butter Berlin are launching a new contemporary womenswear trade show called "Milk & Honey -- all she wants today." The new show will be held in Berlin and is scheduled for September 10 -12 in the 20,000 square foot former Siemens Kabelwerk on the Insel Gartenfeld. Milk & Honey will cover all womenswear: clothing, shoes, accessories, lingerie, beauty products and other high fashion products.

This is the first step into womenswear for Bread & Butter Chief Karl-Heinz Müller. Mirjam Dietz is responsible for the organization of the show and has plenty of experience in the womenswear field. Prior to joining the Bread & Butter team, Dietz spent 13 years at Igedo Company in Dusseldorf.


Italian designer and architect Ettore Sottsas' architecture and design exhibit will be up till June 27th, 2004 at the Esprit Headquarters in Ratingen, Germany. The exhibition shows 90 pieces of furniture, ceramics, glass, photographs and other interior design that span 25 years. Sottsas is responsible for the Memphis style architecture of Esprit in the 1980's as well as the design of Esprit stores and showrooms worldwide. He also built the old Esprit headquarters in Dusseldorf, Germany. Esprit CEO Heinz Krogner is planning new projects with the Italian architecture for the near future including the store design for the new shop generation. "Quality never goes out of style", says Krogner, who is very proud of his new store designer.
