Fi3, the new California-based men trade show/event that stands for Fashion x (Innovation x Insight x Influence) is set to return for its second edition next week on July 8 and 9 at the Barker Hangar at the Santa Monica Airport.

Founded by Advanstar alums Bernard Campbell and André Warren, Fi3 started as a one-day conference in October 2013 but will have more to offer this go-round. Conferences on Tuesday will include talks about the growing Made in America trend, how fashion can work for the greater good, the future of e-commerce and a talk with Davide Berruto, the founder of Shelter Half, a retail/art gallery/event space in Los Angeles that brings together artists, craftsmen and companies that create or produce in the US. Wednesday’s offerings will include talks called “Bridging the Online and Offline Brand Experience” and “The Power of Ethical Manufacturing and Transparent Business.”

There will be about 50 exhibiting brands at Fi3, including Agave, Crawford Denim, Hudson Jeans, Kasil Workshop, Mavi, Norman Russell, PSKaufman and Ace Rivington, a brand new label founded by Beau Lawrence, formerly of Guess, who is already receiving big buzz for his homespun French terry sweatshirts.
The band Kane Holler will play the event’s opening night party, which runs from 5 to 8 on July 8.
