From Mar. 6-7, Premium Exhibition GmbH, primarily known for its bi-annual fashion trade show, will set another trend in launching the first ever Berlin Bike Show, focusing on lifestyle, innovation and mobility.

Taking place at the Station at Gleisdreick, the two-day event will offer everything related to bikes, including bike fashion (yes, there is such a thing!), bike manufacturers, retailers and organizations, and side attractions ranging from half-pipes, MMX Ramps, bike polo fights, bike styling and bike football to the film premiere of “Days of Thunder 2009,” as well as an exhibition of exclusive bike collections.

“As organizers of Premium Trade fair, it feels obvious for us to reach for further innovative exhibition formats. The Berlin Bike Show is the right step in this direction as it focuses on the future, which fits Berlin, and which fits us,” said Norbert Tillmann, director of Premium Exhibitions.

Exhibitors, including Bionicon, Citec, Fixie Inc., Go Cycle, Grace, Hawk Classic, Pasculli, PG-Bikes, Seven Cycles and Veloheld, hail mainly from Germany and will be accompanied by brands from the US, Denmark, Czech Republic and Switzerland.

The new platform is scheduled to take place once a year and will continue in 2011.
