The last edition of Première Vision (Sep. 20-22, 2011) in Paris-Villepinte Parc des Expositions, registered positive results. The show hosted a similar number of exhibitors compared to the 2008/2009 pre-crisis edition - 714 for Première Vision and 43 for Expofil -and registered 46,222 visits, 10% more than in September 2010 and a 2.4% increase compared to the February 2011 edition.

The increase was notable both regarding visitors from France (+10.2% compared to September 2010) and visitors from abroad (+9.9%). In general, there was a high percentage of people coming from abroad, that accounted for almost 73% of total visits. Visitor numbers from Brazil showed an increase of 37% and China +34.6%. Among the top ten visiting countries there were, after France, UK, Italy, Germany, Spain, US and China. Numbers from Turkey and Russia both increased by 29% compared to last year's session.

Among European countries (which altogether increased by 7.6%) significant growth was registered by Italy (+11.6%) despite the closeness to Milan Fashion Week, The Netherlands (+9.2%), UK (+8.5%) and Finland (+7.3%). Eastern Europe also saw a remarkable growth: a record figure was registered by Romania (+76.2%). Last but not least, the United States made a notable comeback with more than 2,000 visitors and a plus of 19.3%. The number of Southern Asian visitors grew altogether by 15%, the number of Indian visitors grew by 41.9%.
