The fashion and premium jeans brand Dondup had been founded in 1999 by Massimo Berloni and Manuela Mariotti. The Italian brand had always been characterized by a free spirit and effortless elegance together with elements of experimentation, craftsmanship and Italian tailoring.

“I would like to thank all the extraordinary people who have strongly believed in this project and who have supported me to date in my work. It has been a thrilling experience that has enabled me to grow as a creative and as a woman,” commented Manuela Mariotti. “In all these years I have been able to remain true to my idea of fashion. Together we have created a brand with a strong, coherent, recognisable identity,” she added.

Marco Casoni, head of the brand as CEO, added: “We are grateful to Manuela for having turned Dondup into a unique brand, for having conveyed its values to the max and for having conceived and drawn a path of success. On our part, we will continue energetically and enthusiastically along this path together with the creative team and the management, confident that we will achieve important goals while creating value for our stakeholders, especially at an international level."
