On November 9 and 10, 2020 the Plastic Free World Virtual Summit will be held live and on demand. The event will involve more than 200 expert speakers and individual presentations, more than 25 panel discussions, a fully interactive exhibition, five individual conference tracks and dedicated networking sessions allowing more people than ever from all corners of the world to share the latest in-depth industry knowledge to help the world tackle the rising issue of waste plastic in the environment.
The five conference tracks will focus on Retail, Consumer Goods and Packaging, Food & Beverage, Bio-based Materials, Closing The Loop and Fashion & Textiles.
The Fashion & Textiles section will present different insiders, experts and activists. Among them Lenzing will occupy three sessions of the second day, November 10.
At 2pm CET, Dr. Christian Weilach, Global R&D, Lenzing, will present Refibra’s properties and characteristics.
At 6.15pm CET a panel discussion will involve, among others, Tricia Carey, director of global business development denim at Lenzing and Chad Bolick, VP brand sales at Unifi.
At 9pm CET, another roundtable entitled “Right from the Start” will involve experts of the denim business. The insiders will be Lenzing’s Carey, Jordan Nodarse, creative director of Boyish Jeans, Ebru Ozaydin, Sr. VP sales and marketing at Artistic Milliners and Jaclyn Allen, director of corporate sustainability at Guess.
