Tonight, the first German edition of Decoded Fashion will start in Berlin. The event series that has previously taken place in New York, London and Milan, offers a meeting and interaction platform for the fashion industry and the start-up scene. At the Berlin premiere, innovative companies are going to introduce their fashion ideas and fashion-related subjects. Among the speakers will be Nils Hartmann (Parasol Island), Franz Riedl (Amazine), Benjamin Günther (Stylight), Nikolaj Hviid (The Dash) and Miki Devic (DGAG). In addition, Google Inc. will be presenting its wearable cyber-glasses “Glass” and “Dash”, allowing all guests to try one of their latest tech products on site.

The 'Decoded Fashion Berlin Meetup Launch' will start at 7 pm at Factory Berlin (Rheinsberger Straße 77) tonight. It is organized by Berlin’s Decoded Fashion team, led by Thomas Janson. Main investors are the digital creative studio Parasol Island and the start-up company Factory. The organziers plan a quaterly repetition of the event with  regard to the Berlin Fashion Week schedule.

Decoded Fashion was founded in 2012 by the New Yorkers Liz Bacelar and Stephanie Winston Wolkoff. The event series is supported by the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) and celebrated as a multi-day conference, as part of the Mercedes Benz New York Fashion Week held at the Lincoln Center. In addition, event series were established in London and Milan. Decoded Fashion has been included in the list of The Best European Startup Events in 2014, by Mike Butcher.
