On 17 November 2016 global denim specialist Isko will hold “Injeanious”, a new event format aimed at investigating new innovation paths– in lifestyle and textiles – for the future.

The event –upon invitation only– will take place in Düsseldorf, at Lofthaus, and will present different working sessions involving experts and forward thinkers of the digital, art and textile business. Topics of the discussions will be tomorrow’s challenges and opportunities within innovation, new visions, responsibility and performance for denim and other markets. Injeanious media partner will be Sportswear International.

The series of seminars will start at 3.30pm and will end with networking activities, a dinner and a party. They will host about 100 guests including product managers, designers, retail insiders and managers from international fashion and denim brands from the German and Northern European markets.

The program will present a first session held by Olaf Gerwig, co-founder and managing director, P3 Communications. His considerations will analyze how digital technology has changed our lives.

A second speaker will be Luciano Pinna, conceptual artist and augmented reality designer, discussing about how much augmented reality can influence present and future times in different fields and how inspirations could be translated into the world of fashion. He has been involved developing the first AR dress with fashion designer Marga Weimans, the first AR schoolyard for children at the Steve Jobs schools, the first AR CMS for Google Glass. His art work was exhibited in Amsterdam, Berlin, London.

A third speaker will join the event showing future implications of other significant forward-minded aspects about another much discussed topic.

Next session will present Esin Kilickan, Isko R&D division, speaking about how innovation can contaminate the world of jeans, denim and fashion.

At 6pm they will host a round table involving specialists from the denim, textile and sports apparel markets focusing on the theme “Future challenges and how to overcome them”. Participating in the round table will be François Girbaud, founder and owner, Marithé + François Girbaud, as well as designer, denim expert, and forward thinker “par excellence”; Marco Lucietti, global marketing director Sanko-Isko division; Dirk Lehmann, publishing & sales director, Sportswear International; Markus Hefter, director, Ispo Group exhibition. Moderator of the round table will be Sabine Kühnl, editor-in-chief, Sportswear International.
