J.Lindeberg has reorganized its distribution for the German speaking markets (Germany, Austria and Switzerland): This month the Swedish brand halted in-house distribution and turned it over to ex-Tiger of Sweden distributor Select Studio, which is responsible for J.Lindeberg fashion men and women. The brand's  ski, golf and activewear collections are furthermore dustributed through JL.

J.Lindeberg’s Central Europe sales director Florian Gross explained this step with the importance of this region where the brand wants to gain a foothold. “As an experienced multilingual agency and a premium label portfolio, where J.Lindeberg is ideally integrated, Select can address a larger customer base than it was previously possible.”

As confirmed, the agency, which operates offices in Düsseldorf and Munich, will assume the role of a full-service brand builder during market definition and expansion. It will also have influence on the design and participate in the development and creation of collections tailored to the market.

The first influences of Select on the JL branding and the fashion collection will be visible from the a/w 2018 collection. “Function meets fashion” will play an important role.

Select Studio is also responsible for the labels By Marlene Birger, Oscar Jacobson, Gestuz and Scandinavian Edition. Tiger of Sweden was also in its stable until the brand recently opted for independent distribution.
