Diesel celebrated its 35th anniversary on 7 October by donating €555,000 to the Only The Brave foundation, a non-profit organization that the OTB holding supports for sustainable social projects around the world.
Renzo Rosso, founder, owner and president, OTB Holding, posted a special letter in his own social network profiles that underlined his passion for his work and his projects. "35 years ago began the most incredible adventure of my life: Diesel. 35 years of creativity, bravery, passion and fun," he commented.
Nonetheless he also believes how crucial it is to support social causes - especially at times like these. Therefore Rosso decided to celebrate this anniversary differently. "We believe we are a modern company, one that feels responsible and is committed to giving back to society. We are financing the restoration of Venice's Rialto Bridge. We sustained a micro-credit project to help families damaged by the earthquake that struck Italy last year. We are supporting 'made in Italy' suppliers with our C.A.S.H. project."
