Diesel has collaborated with Fiat on a new convertible Fiat 500 automobile. The company unveiled the sporty collaboration on April 15, coinciding with Milan’s Salone del Mobile, at a special event attended by VIP guests such as Renzo Rosso, Lapo Elkann and model Bianca Balti, at the Diesel Planet flagship store in Piazza San Babila. The company also took the opportunity to debut a Diesel for Successful Living Lighting collection by Foscarini, furniture by Moroso and textiles by Zucchi. The Fiat 500C by Diesel, in a new Midnight indigo color, features denim style fabric interiors with yellow stitching and a fifth pocket and a special satin chrome dashboard while the brand’s signature Mohican logo appears on the gear stick. The new model will be available commercially in Italy as of May, starting from €18,000. Nearly 6,500 units of the already available limited-edition saloon version have already been sold.
