The German and globally renowned fashion-minded activewear and streetwear brand Puma has just inaugurated its new Italian headquarters in the business park in Milanofiori Nord in Assago, near Milan.
The new premises occupy an area of 1,800 sq. meters made up of showrooms, offices, a gym area, a small soccer field and gardens. They employ 80 people in sales, marketing, communications and product departments. The new headquarters and the building is LEED Gold certified, according to most advanced energy, water saving and CO2 emission reduction criteria.

The inauguration event was held at the presence of Bjørn Gulden, CEO; Martyn Bowen, general manager EMEA, and Javier Ortega, general manager Southern Europe. Special guest of the occasion was soccer champion Mario Balotelli.

Javier Ortega declared: "We are happy about the inauguration of this new Italian headquarters, a modern and highly sustainable criteria location designed according to the newest wellness trends. It is based within a whole 136,000 sq. meter green area where green spaces and buildings well integrate with each other. The opening of such headquarters witnesses how the Italian market is important for Puma, how it is constantly growing and how much we are investing in it in order to help it growing further.”
Puma, part of Kering Group, registered € 2.6 billion, within the first nine months of 2016, 10% more than in the corresponding period of 2015.
