Earlier this month, Converse has reopened its revamped and expanded flagship store in Soho, New York. The premises now spread over two floors and occupy 10,000 square feet of selling space, making it brand’s largest store in the world upon final completion.

As part of the new concept, Converse offers an enhanced Converse Blank Canvas Customization experience for footwear, apparel and accessories. Here, customers can screen print product as well as customize or change a variety of iconic sneaker features, which can be achieved by adding grommets, switching laces, adjusting colors, adding patches, and using their own designs to create a one-of-a-kind product.

Later this year, the store will start offering the Converse Blank Canvas Workshop that empowers consumers to create their own Chuck Taylor sneakers from scratch. Working with a sneaker designer called “The Maestro” in an hour-long, hands-on session, consumers will be able to customize every detail, from silhouette to fabric, materials, rubber toecap, eyelets and other add-ons to build a truly personal sneaker.
