After already proving his sense of style on the cover and inside of our recent GERMAN ISSUE, Emre Can has landed another major fashion coup. The footballer from Frankfurt, Germany, has worked together with retail giant H&M on a special suits collection, which will be sold as “Selected by Emre Can” in all German H&M stores with an own men’s department (plus in selected e-commerce markets) from March 8.
Thereby, the shooting star who currently plays for FC Liverpool and the German national team, follows in the footsteps of fellow footballer David Beckham, who has also designed for the Swedish retailer.

The “Selected by Emre Can” collection will contain suit pants (retailing for €25-30) and matching jacket (retailing for €50-60), shirts, vests and matching accessories. It will be introduced in a two-part campaign with the first one focusing on very festive and formal and the second one on more casual celebratory events.
“H&M belongs to my childhood and youth as almost no other brand. We didn’t have much money back then, but still it was important to me and my parents to always be well dressed. […] I have always stayed true to myself and my style and still like to wear H&M clothing today,” said Can.
