Adriano Goldschmied is Mavi’s new partner. For their new denim collection 'Indigo Move' that should combine comfort and style the denim brand has appointed the denim expert himself as new designer and creative head.
Cuneyt Yavuz, Mavi CEO commented: "Adriano Goldschmied’s sharp eyes and special skills has made him an excellent collaborator in Mavi’s early years and our Molly style played a significant role in our success in the US and women’s denim market. He is still the grand master of denim, just as he was 25 years ago. Our collaboration with Adriano will continue in the upcoming season."
The collection employs two fabrics. Move Denim is a knit-based fabrication offered in different weights and indigo shades that have the same character and quality as real indigo woven denim. The knit moves with the body and has the stretch and performance of activewear. Bi-Stretch Denim in an incorporating multi-directional stretch, the fabric is developed to ensure freedom of movement and provide comfort through shape retention, elongation and a flawless silhouette. The new capsule collection targeting men and women that is available in denim shades of indigo, ink, smoke and black, introduces also new silhouettes and fits.
A selection of jackets completes the offer.
Retail prices range from 119 Euros - 149 Euros. As Mavi announced the distribution will be organized with agencies as the line will be positioned in the premium segment and sold throughout selected premium retailers.
