As reported earlier, Chic Beijing, the annual platform that attracts visitors from all over China and from abroad to connect with the Chinese apparel consumer market, will run from the 26th to 29th of March 2014. The fair, organized by the Beijing Fashion Expo and the China World Trade Center, will offer over 100,000 square meters at the new China International Exhibition Center in Beijing.

More than 1,000 exhibitors will be participating in Chic, including over 400 exhibitors from other countries and regions (Austria, Australia, China Hong Kong, China Taiwan, Denmark, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Korea, Peru, Poland, Russia, Singapore, Turkey, UK, USA).
For the first time, Austria will be present with a selection of brands including Hanro, Jones, Steinbock and more. The French pavilion ‘Paris Forever’ will host brands like Fuego-Ananke, Malfroy, Pause Café or Best Mountain. Italy will be present with its largest participation ever including brands like Paolo Casalini, Ny&Lon, Redwood or Golf Club. Further joint pavilions will be provided by Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong and South Korea. Individual participations are registered from Denmark, Poland, the UK, USA and Asian nations.
Hall E3 will showcase the collections of more than 30 Turkish leather and fur brands under the roof of the Istanbul Textile and Apparel Exporters Association (ITKIB). A special cocktail reception will be held on the second day of Chic at the Turkish pavilion.

During the trade show, Chic will offer several seminars, workshops and symposia, including the Brand Trade Matchmaking Conference, the Buyers’ Day or the Outlet Forum. There will also be several fashion shows held.
CHIC is cooperating with the China General Chamber of Commerce, the China Association of Department Stores and the China Commercial Real Estate Union who are all inviting several shopping malls and department stores.

For this upcoming edition, the organization has decided to face the challenge of balancing between online and offline. Thus, under the headline ‘Easy+Match’= Chic’, organizers help to find an easy access to Chic and to match with the right business partners in all sectors from online to offline. Furthermore, forums focused on e-commerce channels will showcase the most leading enterprise operation modes.
