Turkey’s Calik Denim continues to support creativity globally. After recently sponsoring the Treviso Comic Book festival in Italy, it is now supporting a multi-artistic project that brings together music, art and design in Art Basel Miami.

The Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) and the SCAD Museum of Art present the exhibition "I feel ya: SCAD + André 3000 Benjamin," on view from 3 December to 14 December at the Mana Miami Production Village, 318 NW 23rd St., Miami, Florida. The exhibition explores fashion, film and painting through the work of artist, musician, performer, fashion innovator and actor André Lauren Benjamin - aka André 3000 - as well as work by SCAD alumni Greg Brunkalla and Jimmy O’Neal.

The exhibition is an invitation to think critically. Phrases printed on custom jumpsuits designed by Benjamin initiate a powerful exchange, reflected in O’Neal’s large-scale abstract paintings alongside an experimental film directed by Brunkalla.

Shown together here for the first time, Benjamin’s 47 jumpsuits were originally created for the 2014 worldwide tour celebrating Atlanta-based hip hop duo Outkast’s 20-year music history.

After its premiere in Miami, the exhibition will travel to the SCAD Museum of Art in Savannah, Georgia, where it will be on view in summer 2015.

The exhibition is co-produced by Benjamin and SCAD. The Design Miami Collector's Breakfast is co-hosted by Wallace and Benjamin and sponsored exclusively by Calik Denim.
