In September C&A will present its new Click & Collect Lounges at selected stores in Germany. In the integrated lounge area, customers will be able to order the entire online range and collect their purchases on the spot.

The fashion company is accordingly combining its off-line with its online brand experience; a further extension of the multichannel strategy. The initial rollout will be at the flagship store in Düsseldorf. In September and October further stores will follow in Cologne, Bielefeld, Bremen, Hannover, Kassel, Frankfurt, Karlsruhe, Stuttgart and Halle.

In addition to shopping at their local C&A store, in the store’s Click & Collect Lounge customers have access to, where they can order items of clothing and accessories from its online range. This enables them within a short time to enhance their outfit or try it out with other clothing sizes and different colours. In turn shopping fans can find inspiration in the lounge by discovering fashion items which they can then buy directly in the store. In a cosy atmosphere tablets are available to customers either at a modern info bar or in a corner with comfortable seating where they can simply select and order what they want. Customers receive an email message and can then pick up their orders, without any transport costs, at a time which suits them, from the service counters in the lounge. After that they can try their fashion items on and combine them right there in the changing rooms.
