To implement stringent communication across all channels and consumer-oriented positioning of Tom Tailor in Germany, the company will combine the wholesale and retail divisions under one management.
"We will merge our wholesale and retail sales units in Germany in the future in order to further strengthen our Tom Tailor brand, place our customers at the center of our activities and develop holistic approaches for the ever more dynamically changing competitive environment,” explains Gernot Lenz, who took over as CEO of the Tom Tailor Group on November 1, 2019 (read also here).
Thomas Bretscher country manager Germany
Thomas Bretscher, currently global vice president of wholesale, who has been with the company since 2014, will take over the position of country manager Germany created as part of the merger on January 1, 2020.
Andreas Kaczmarczyk, VP Retail
Andreas Kaczmarczyk, vice president retail at the Tom Tailor Group since 2018, will hand over his responsibilities to Thomas Bretscher and will leave the company at the end of the year to pursue a new challenge.
Thalke Onken, director wholesale Germany
In addition, Thalke Onken took over as director wholesale Germany on November 1, 2019. Until now, Bretscher held this position on an interim basis. Onken has held various positions for the company since November 2009, most recently as head of wholesale online & marketplaces.
Andrea Homann, since 2015 vice president of product and managing director of product and procurement at Tom Tailor GmbH, will leave the company after twelve years of strategic and operational product management.
