Marcella Wartenbergh is the newly named CEO of Pepe Jeans Group.

Her task will be to increase sales performance of the group’s three brands (Pepe Jeans London, Hackett and Façonnable) and complete the group’s digitalization process while consolidating its presence in major global markets.

Wartenbergh boasts longtime experience in fashion as she has worked for the US group PVH as global merchandising director and licenses for Calvin Klein, for which she also was the president for the management of the group in Europe. Within PVH she already held positions for Tommy Hilfiger including being executive director in Mexico.
As CEO for Pepe Jeans Group she will lead the group’s brands to adapt them to the changes the market is facing, attract new targets and start new growth plans.

“The group’s brands Pepe Jeans London, Hackett and Façonable are historical reference points for fashion worldwide,” said Wartenbergh. She added: “Answering always more demanding consumers’ trend requests and digitalizing the main company’s processes are fundamental steps in this new phase the group is facing.”
Carlos Ortega, founder and shareholder of Pepe Jeans Group, considers this naming a push for the holding and added: “We trust a professional who has always distinguished herself in this segment as a person who can interpret new trends in order to answer consumers’ needs and who will guide the group toward always new success.”

Pepe Jeans Group is one of most important European distribution groups and enterprises for fashion. It operates in Europe, India, Japan and Southern America and is also responsible for the distribution of Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein in Spain. The group employs more than 3,000 people and registers €532 million sales yearly.
