For s/s 2021 Guess Inc. is launching Guess Originals x Pleasures Drew Barrymore. The capsule is made up of 36 pieces including styles for men and women printed with iconic images from ’90s Guess campaigns featuring Barrymore. The collection will be sold through urbanoutfitters.com starting January 18 and from March also through selected Guess stores and guess.eu.
Pleasures is a streetwear brand from Los Angeles founded by Alex James and Vlad Elkin in 2015. It is known for its punk, metal and grunge inspiration and for having collaborated with other fashion brands from all over the world since its early days.
"This is our third release in collaboration with Guess and the largest one until now," said James and Elkin. “For every collection we continue to move beyond while keeping Guess heritage alive. Drew is a US icon.”

"The idea behind this initiative started three years ago from another project with Pleasures,” explained Nicolai Marciano, director of Brand Partnerships, Guess. "So many people mentioned that '94 campaign when they discussed Guess’ most memorable shoots. Compared with other faces we had worked with in the past and the historic period of Drew’s career we thought it was the perfect nostalgia moment for presenting the capsule to a new generation of Guess fans."

The men’s selection includes top and trousers in denim, sweatshirts, hooded sweatshirts, jogging pants and T-shirt sold at retail between €39 and €99. The women’s collection offers tops, ribbed jersey tank tops, oversized and hooded tops along with heavy enzyme washed jeans reminiscent of a vintage denim mood. Retail prices range from €29 and €129. Accessories such as hats, bags and sunglasses sold at €12-€79 complete the offer.
