Diesel has just launched a new collaboration with GR8, a cutting-edge destination for contemporary fashion and streetwear store in Harajuku, Tokyo, Japan.
The Italian brand has developed eight different limited edition capsule collections created in collaboration with Japanese and international designers and artists for the partnership. The capsules–entirely curated by GR8’s owner and head buyer Kubo–feature Diesel garments with impressive graphics and prints.

“I have always been drawn to Tokyo and this will never change, even though the city is always changing,” says Rosso. “This new initiative between Diesel and GR8, and Kubo’s network, shows a very modern and innovative way to ‘collaborate,’ which is a word that is now ubiquitous in fashion. When you collaborate on a niche scale, it makes the product much more rare.”
The overall capsules offer a total of 36 pieces featuring Diesel unisex denim, jackets, sweats, and T-shirts. Each of the eight designers and artists gave these pieces their own unique imprinting expressing their aesthetic vision through photography, illustration, calligraphy and typography.

On Friday, September 4, 2020 the Diesel x GR8 collaboration will be launched and available only at major Japanese Diesel stores at GR8’s Harajuku store and online.
